Your Physiotherapist may choose to use electrotherapy as an adjunct to treatment for example Ultrasound, Inter X and Tens.

Ultrasound uses high frequency waves to promote the inflammatory response and subsequent healing making it particularly beneficial for acute conditions such as sports injuries.
